At Growing With You Pediatrics, we treat our patients like family.
With growing families of our own, at GWY pediatrics we understand the needs of families, and we are passionate about providing excellent care for children at all stages of growth. We take a team approach to our visits in which we encourage parents and patients to ask questions, voice concerns, and take an active role in the patient care plan.
When our patient's are ill, getting to the heart of the matter as quickly as possible is important. We employ a caring and rigorous diagnostic approach which includes active listening, diligent assessments and tailored treatment plans - all in a nonjudgmental atmosphere.
As both moms and nurses, our founders are committed to family-centered care in all aspects of every visit. They both believe in providing care that encompasses the whole family, which includes caring for patients like their own children, and acting as advocates for patients and families.

Meet Our Team
Melissa Jobgen, PNP
Melissa has been a pediatric nurse for almost 25 years, and a pediatric nurse practitioner for 15 years. She graduated with honors from Allen College for her undergraduate education, and then from the University of Iowa with her MSN, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Melissa’s prior nursing experience was taking care of children at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Melissa worked on a pediatric floor where she took care of children with the following specialty teams: cardiology, pulmonary, otolaryngology, orthopedics, neurology, and general pediatrics. She also spent time caring for children in the pediatric intensive care unit.
After Graduating as a pediatric nurse practitioner, Melissa worked with Dr. Weinstein in pediatric
orthopedics, and she also did some teaching in the Bachelor of Science in nursing program at St. Ambrose University. Melissa has since provided care to pediatric patients at the primary care level for the last twelve years.
Tina Coakley, PNP
Tina is an experienced pediatric nurse practitioner with over fifteen years’ experience in the field of nursing. After graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Iowa in 2007, she began her nursing career at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She worked on inpatient pediatric urology, surgery, nephrology, endocrine, hematology, oncology, neurology, and bone marrow transplant units.
While working as a nurse, Tina was awarded the Daisy Award for going above-and-beyond for her patients. In 2014, Tina graduated with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from The University of Iowa and has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner in the Quad Cities ever since. Tina values the connection and trust that she develops with families and patients that she cares for. In her free time, Tina and her husband enjoy the country life with their four children. Being a Master Gardener, she enjoys canning, cooking, and baking the vegetables and fruits she grows.
